About
Orphaned at a young age when his parents were taken by imperial forces after the invasion of Doma, left alone after, though being taken in by an old thaumaturge. The retired mage worked for one of the Doman universities in the archeology department, and was often travelling for work, taking Tristen with him and showing him a world beyond the steppes he grew up in. Teaching him the ways of magic as a way to defend himself, as Tris often found himself fitting into the smaller spaces when needed, at least until he became too large to do so himself. As the Au Ra aged, he became a rather ambitious treasure hunter and proficient thaumaturge, travelling across continents and countries, delving through places he shouldn’t to seek his fortune.
